Mechanical Technician
Our mechanical technicians are integral to CapPlus Technologies’ success by building, testing and repairing new & used equipment. Electro mechanical skills are critical. Technicians at CapPlus have the opportunity to learn about and work on a broad range of equipment including gummy production lines, softgel encapsulators, capsule fillers, tablet presses, liquid fillers, conveyors, counters, etc. Please visit our website at www.capplustech.com to gain an idea on the diversity of equipment we offer.
Responsibilities:
- Function test new and used machines
- Systematically troubleshoot to determine issues and necessary repairs. This may include testing mechanical and
pneumatic systems and electrical components such as VFDs, PLCs, relays, contactors, solenoids, etc.
- Complete necessary mechanical & electrical repairs once they have been determined
- Work closely with the engineering team to improve the design and function of equipment
- Complete new machine builds
- Basic fabrication and finishing
- Assist with Crating & Uncrating
- Provide customer support
Requirements:
- At least 3 years working as a technician in the packaging, production, or manufacturing field (Other closely related fields will be considered)
- Self-driven with attention to detail
- Ability to systematically problem solve
- Electro Mechanical troubleshooting + Pneumatics
- Forklift Experience
- The ability to read and understand electrical diagrams
- PLC Programming knowledge experience is a bonus

Hourly pay is negotiable, depending on experience. Health insurance is available. Applicants should be comfortable commuting to our location near Deer Valley Airport in North Phoenix.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
