Maintenance Technician — Apartment Community ($26/HR)
We are looking for a reliable, skilled Maintenance Technician to support daily operations at our apartment community. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, communicates clearly, and understands the importance of creating a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment for residents.
Primary Responsibilities
Complete resident service requests in a timely, professional manner
Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues
Perform HVAC troubleshooting (EPA certification preferred but not required)
Light carpentry and drywall repairs
Painting, caulking, and cosmetic repairs
Maintain grounds, common areas, and community cleanliness
Assist with turns/make-ready work on vacant units
Support emergency on-call rotation when assigned
Follow company safety and quality standards
Qualifications:
1+ year of apartment or facility maintenance experience preferred
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Basic hand and power tool knowledge
Must pass background screening
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of refrigeration and appliance repair
Experience with plumbing snake/clearing drains
