Frē ǝrth Logistics is seeking committed & reliable drivers with a great attitude and excellent work ethic to deliver packages to customers in the Peoria, Surprise, & Sun City areas in your own cargo van, minivan, or large SUV.
Five and six day schedules are available, Sunday through Saturday with earnings ranging from $800 to $1,200 per week. This is an independent contractor position.
Requirements:
- Own or have consistent use of a reliable cargo van, minivan, or large SUV.
- Commit to a regular work schedule.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license in the state of Arizona with an excellent motor vehicle driving record and auto insurance.
- Pass a criminal background check.
- Minimum 1 year of delivery driver experience (Amazon, UPS, Fed-Ex, Door Dash, Uber, etc.).
- Ability to safely lift/carry/move up to 75lbs, 150 lbs. with hand truck assistance.
- Own a reliable smartphone that can be utilized for business purposes.
Daily Duties:
- Deliver packages to between 80 and 120+ stops per day, including homes, apartments, and businesses.
- Safely operate and navigate your vehicle in various road and weather conditions.
- Scan, organize, and load packages of varying size and weight as assigned each workday.
- Follow all traffic laws including speed limits and posted signage while adhering to strict safety and quality standards on and off the road.
- Use smartphone for scanning packages, receiving delivery information, GPS navigation, managing delivery progress, conducting administrative requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service and deliver packages in a professional and courteous manner.
Important to Note:
- Federal and state taxes are not withheld from weekly pay and will be the driver’s responsibility for independent contractor positions.
- Expenses including fuel, vehicle maintenance, and smart phone service are the driver’s responsibility for independent contractor positions.
