As a Parts Delivery Driver you will ensure a timely delivery/pickup of parts, managing orders, routes, and customer service for shops or technicians. Requirements: a clean license, good driving record, strong organization, and ability to handle physical tasks like loading/unloading heavy parts while representing the dealership professionally. Key Responsibilities:
Delivery & Pickup: Transporting auto parts, equipment, and supplies to commercial clients (repair shops, other dealerships) and sometimes picking up cores/returns.
Order Fulfillment: Accurately pulling, staging, loading, and securing parts for delivery; reconciling invoices.
Route Management: Planning efficient delivery routes to ensure prompt service.
Customer Service: Acting as a professional representative, building relationships, and informing customers about products.
Vehicle Maintenance: Keeping delivery vehicles clean, organized, and in safe operating condition.
Inventory Support: Assisting with restocking the parts department and warehouse.
Documentation: Maintaining delivery logs, handling paperwork, and potentially cash.
Essential Skills & Requirements:
Valid driver's license & clean driving record.
Physical ability to lift heavy parts (sometimes 100 lbs) and work bending/kneeling.
Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to drive standard (manual) and automatic vehicles.
Familiarity with parts catalogs and computer/handheld devices.
Dependability and professionalism.
