Amazon Worldwide Operations is looking for Supply Chain Program Managers with a strong delivery record and proven project management experience to own strategic, tactical, cross-functional and technology projects and programs within Amazon Transportation Services. These roles require scoping and creating project plans, developing processes, coordinating and driving execution, and communicating to senior management on status, risks and process/product changes. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential.The person in this role is responsible for reporting out on team performance, coordinating with staff to ensure metrics and bridges are being produced, resolve network operation outages or escalations, ensure remote associates are in compliance with training, create and launch process changes among the department, staffing, and execute department performance improvements. Supply Chain Program Managers will help develop the department’s growth, manage department projects, and lead or work with cross functional teams on strategic initiatives.Key job responsibilities

Partner with other program managers to secure resources, scope efforts, set project priorities and milestones and drive delivery

Own program communication, accelerating progress by driving crisp and timely decisions, clearing blockers (e.g., path to green), escalating as appropriate

Influence design and development of strategic processes

Work with program managers and business leaders to communicate and impact critical business initiatives

Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility to the milestones, and performance across all projects and using this data to drive/influence business decisions

Engage other Amazon business units globally to share best practices and improve end to end outcomes for Amazon customers

Manage post-launch support plans (e.g., post-mortem, issue/ticket management, etc.) and look for opportunities to improve program quality and operational excellence

Ensure team compliance to Standard Operating Procedures and Amazon policies

Conduct performance reviews and support team career growth

Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Transportation Logistics, or related field 3+ years of experience in program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, or transportation 2+ years of experience leading cross-functional programs Experience with Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc. Experience with analytical tools such as SQL, Tableau or Microsoft AccessPreferred Qualifications MBA/MS and work experience in dedicated project management highly desired Experience or use of PMP/Lean Six Sigma/Kaizen Demonstrated problem-solving, mathematical, and analytical skills using data to drive decisions in a business environment Experience designing, implementing, and optimizing initiatives Experience with data mining and data analysis Demonstrated experience and proficiency in effective communication of goals and strategies across multiple leadership levels of an organization Proven ability to influence internal/external stakeholders without authority to adopt new processes/initiatives Strong written and oral communication skills High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple competing projects and priorities simultaneously Ability to think strategically and execute methodically Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired Analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; general manager / owner mentality Demonstrated ability to dive deep in understanding the product, our business and the competitive landscape Ability to work in an ambiguous environment Ability to organize- and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment when working in stressful situations Ability to clearly communicate data insights to others4+ Years Logistics Brokerage SettingAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
