Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are actively searching for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Tucson, Arizona. This role is integral to our financial operations, with a focus on processing a high volume of invoices, managing vendor inquiries, and maintaining accurate accounts payable records. This position offers a contract-to-hire opportunity for our client in the non-profit industry.Responsibilities: Process a high volume of invoices in an accurate and efficient manner Ensure proper coding of invoices to maintain financial accuracy Handle inquiries from vendors, providing timely and effective responses Reconcile vendor statements to ensure all financial records are up to date Manage employee expense reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies Maintain accounts payable aging to keep track of outstanding payments Conduct analysis of accounts for financial reporting and auditing purposes Maintain accounts payable reports and spreadsheets for record-keeping purposes Handle check requests as per company policy and procedures Provide customer support in relation to accounts payable inquiries.Requirements Must possess a strong understanding and working knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures Solid organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with various departments Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferredRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
