JOB FUNCTIONS     %TimeManages a team of technical personnel and participate in executing the following activities: Lead engineering design for studies, basic and detailed engineering for mineral and chemical processing plants for the recovery of base and precious metals. Assign project teams and define work schedules.  20Manage the financial performance of the business to ensure sales and profit KPIs for the business are met. 10Manage and mentor the technical team, identifying strengths and addressing experience gaps.  10Responsible for business development and for interacting with the SGS sales team to generate new sales. Assist Sales team in understanding and defining technical bid content. 30Participate in technical meetings and professional organizations. Present technical papers and/or participate is business focused symposia.  5Assists in the production of project scope documents (drawings and specifications) for projects, and reviews reports for technical content.   5Review and interpret Requests for Quotation (RFQ’s) for engineering projects. Define scope of work/project objectives based on RFQ received.
