Job Description: Remodeler/Field Technician

The Field Technician is responsible for maintaining and upgrading properties as instructed via work orders approved by Property Managers and homeowners.

The Field Technician will:

Be responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned.

Process paperwork upon the completing of each job including time and expense tracking.

Responsible for alerting the Property Manager of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that may have taken place or that may occur.

Maintain a professional courteous manner with all tenants, vendors, clients, and fellow employees.

Communicate safety issues to our staff and vendors; communicates liability issues to our clients.

Ensure that equipment and supplies are maintained in a safe, operable/usable condition and/or arrange for their replacement.

Ensure the proper use and care of company vehicles, supplies, and equipment.

The Wrigs General Property Field Technician possesses:

A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation to get to work.

Smart phone for timekeeping,, sending reports and pictures.

Considerable knowledge of construction and practices and procedures. (Drywall, Framing, Painting)

Considerable knowledge of maintenance and repair work.

Thorough knowledge of proper safety techniques and procedures.

Skill in the operation of hand tools and equipment common to the building trades.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Ability to work with co-workers and clients.

Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.

A professional and put-together demeanor.

Confidence, ambition, self-motivation and the ability to work independently.

Problem-solving skills; keen listening skills
