Growing company looking for a dedicated professional supervisor to lead and manage our team of routine pool maintenance techs of about 8-12 techs. You will be responsible for all aspects in the field with regards to the daily servicing of pools.
The ideal candidate will have years of experience in proper water chemistry, equipment operation and training maintenance techs on the proper way to service a pool. The preferred candidate will have a background in diagnostic skills with equipment issues and able to determine first and second level diagnostics. Also being able to talk to customer about new service as well as equipment upgrades will also be very helpful so our sales manager can make the follow-up contact. This will be a prefect position for someone that wants to come in and help shape the direction of the company into the future to accommodate future growth.
We are looking for a supervisor that knows how to walk that line between getting your team to work for you yet making sure they are doing what they need to do and taking action if its not getting done. This is not only an operational position it is a position where you also are making passive sales so being of a sales mine would a great fit. Note: you will on-board new customers to get the pool in shape and working correctly before turning the pool our to a route technician. This is usually a 2-3 week process. We cant stress this enough, we need a go-getter in this position and not someone who is going to set around and let things happen around them.
You will report the the Director of Operations, however, also work in collaboration with our Repair / Equipment Manager and our Sales Manager. You will also work closely with the Office/Support Manager in some aspects of the job.
