Heavy truck diesel engine and equipment mechanic

Harvey Trucking is seeking to hire skilled full time Diesel Engine, Heavy Truck and Construction Equipment Mechanics. with a minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience. Pay is based on experience. This is a fast-paced environment with a steady workload requiring heavy lifting, we are looking to fill several positions on our second shift. Applicants with engine experience should be familiar with diagnostics and repairs on Paccar MX and Volvo D-13 EPA-13/EPA 17 engines with ability to proficiently operate Paccar DAVIE and Volvo Tech. Tool diagnostic software. Caterpillar and Detroit Diesel DD series engine experience as well as Eaton and Volvo I-shift transmission diagnostics and rebuild experience is a plus. General Truck and equipment applicants should be proficient in diagnosing and repairing air brake systems, HVAC systems, hydraulic, suspension, drivetrain and electrical systems. Welding and fabrication skills and holding a valid unrestricted CDL driver's license is a plus. Applicants are required to have their own tools sufficient to perform tasks for position.
