Bachert Wellness Clinic is a modern, natural, state of the art chiropractic center with currently 2 doctors offering therapies to treat the whole person such as Pulsed Electromagnetic Therapy, Cold Laser Therapy, detoxification, nutritional supplements, as well as others. Our priority is patient care and connecting with our patients to create a family atmosphere. We want our patients to feel comfortable and know from their first visit on, they will be treated with the care and compassion you would expect from a team of professionals who really do care about each and every patient’s health and well being.

Job Summary

Full time (34 hrs/week)

Assists and coordinates office activities to achieve maximum expense control and productivity. Coordinate and learn office therapies. Answer phones and schedules new and current patient appointments. Assists the doctors in providing documentation and follow up for patient requests. Develop procedures and policies for for office activities, such as new patient generating programs, filing, patient record maintenance, word processing, reports, and mail distribution. Will be responsible for some office and office equipment maintenance.

We are looking for an individual that possesses dedication, dependability, high energy, positive attitude, experience working with people (and enjoys working with children), and great team working skills.

General Duties:

-Assists doctor and management in performing routine tasks to keep the office running smoothly.

-Performing and communicating therapies.

-Answering and processing calls.

-Schedule appointments, manage rescheduling and cancelling of appointments.

-Process new patients.

-Manage filing process

- Create and assist with marketing programs and practice promotion, including but not limited to screenings, in-office workshops, and lunch and learns.

-Collect insurance information for PI patients.

- Keep accurate and up to date reports and files.

-Follow opening and closing procedures.

-Additionaldutiea assigned as requested by management.

Skills/Experience Requirements:

-high school diploma with experience in the field of chiropractic preferred.

-relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.

-familiarity with chiropractic terminology.

-excellent communication and customer service skills.

- excellent computer skills required using MS Office and equivalent database programs.

-proficient in chiropractic/scheduling software.

Mental/Physical Requirements:

Work Environment:

Works in an exciting office setting where temperatures are comfortable and noise levels are moderate.

Hours:

Mon 9-1:40

TWF 9:00-5:30 w/1 hour lunch

Th 8:30-1:40 (Once a month we meet at 8:15)

(Flexibility with staying late or coming early is required as well as an occasional weekend)
