We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Veterinary Technician to support our medical team, oversee daily technician workflows, and ensure exceptional patient care and client service. This role is ideal for a strong clinical technician who enjoys mentoring others, maintaining high medical standards, and partnering closely with veterinarians and hospital leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical & Patient CareProvide high-quality nursing care, including patient assessments, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, laboratory procedures, and treatment administrationAssist veterinarians with examinations, surgery, and medical proceduresEnsure accurate medical records and compliance with hospital protocolsMaintain a safe, clean, and well-organized treatment and surgical environmentLeadership & Team SupportServe as a clinical leader and resource for veterinary technicians and assistantsTrain, mentor, and support onboarding of new team membersHelp coordinate daily technician scheduling, case flow, and task delegationPromote a positive, collaborative, and respectful team cultureSupport performance coaching and provide feedback in partnership with hospital leadershipOperations & Quality StandardsMonitor inventory levels and assist with ordering medical suppliesEnsure adherence to hospital safety, sanitation, and regulatory guidelinesSupport workflow efficiency and continuous improvement initiativesHelp implement new protocols, equipment, or medical standardsClient CommunicationProvide clear and compassionate communication regarding treatments, estimates, discharge instructions, and follow-up careSupport client education to enhance compliance and patient outcomes
