Job Summary:
We’re looking for a Measure Tech to join our flooring team. No prior experience as a Measure Tech is needed. You’ll be responsible for visiting customers' homes, measuring their floors, and making sure the measurements are correct for our sales team and installers. We’ll provide the tools and training you need, like tablets and laser measuring devices, to help you do the job. This role requires good communication skills since you’ll be working with customers and our team. If you're detail-oriented, good with technology, and enjoy providing great customer service, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
Visit customers’ homes to measure their floors accurately.
Use company-provided tools like tablets and laser measuring devices to get precise measurements.
Check the floors to see if there are any issues, like moisture or damage, that could affect installation.
Work with the sales team and project managers to make sure estimates are accurate.
Answer any customer questions and explain our products and services.
Keep clear records of all measurements and customer interactions.
Stay up to date on our products and learn about new tools and techniques.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED.
Experience in customer service or sales is helpful, but not required.
Comfortable using technology like tablets and laser tools (we'll train you!).
Good attention to detail for accurate measurements.
Friendly and able to talk with customers and coworkers.
Organized and able to handle multiple tasks at once.
A valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
Professional appearance and attitude.
