Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Medical Receptionist in Little Rock, Arkansas. In this role, you will be working in a medical office, providing key support to both patients and medical staff. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around receptionist duties and co-insurance tasks. Responsibilities Greet and direct patients, making them feel welcomed and comfortable Handle all incoming calls and inquiries, providing necessary information and assistance Schedule patient appointments and manage appointment scheduling system Maintain patient records, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate Process patient co-insurance, verifying details and resolving any discrepancies Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth office operations Handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and discretion Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient needs and concerns promptly Maintain cleanliness and organization of reception area Assist in other administrative tasks as required Requirements Must have a high school diploma or equivalent Proven work experience in a receptionist role, preferably within a medical setting Knowledge of Co-Insurance and other relevant medical insurance policies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency with medical software and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Must have a customer service-oriented approach Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary Good problem-solving skills and ability to handle stressful situations Knowledge of medical terminology is desirable.
