We’re expanding our team and looking for a skilled, dependable Foreman to lead and organize our welding crew.
Position Summary
The Welding Foreman will manage day-to-day shop and field operations. You’ll work closely with the owner and front office to plan, assign, and complete projects safely, efficiently, and with precision. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who enjoys both fabrication and managing people.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily welding and installation work
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements
Oversee fabrication of handrails, gates, stairs, and fencing
Manage team workflow, material needs, and jobsite setup
Enforce safety standards and maintain a clean work environment
Train, motivate, and evaluate welders and helpers
Track project progress, labor hours, and job quality
Communicate with clients, management, and team members effectively
Qualifications
5+ years welding/fabrication experience (carbon steel, ornamental iron, or stainless preferred)
2+ years of leadership or foreman experience
Proficient in MIG, Stick welding, and TIG is a plus
Ability to read blueprints and fabricate custom metalwork
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and time-management skills
Must be dependable and committed to high-quality work
Schedule & Pay
Monday–Friday, occasional Saturdays if needed
Full-time, 40 hours per week (overtime available)
Pay: $25–$35/hr depending on experience
