We are partnered with a client that spcializes in Electronics Manufacturing, based out of Anaheim, CA. They are looking for an on-site Technical Help Desk Specialist to join their team. Candidates must be local to Orange County. No C2C sponsorship is available for the position.
Summary: The qualified IT candidate will provide desktop support to our corporate users. Candidate must have good communication skills, professional appearance, strong troubleshooting abilities and a desire for learning new technologies.Qualified Candidates will have:- BS Degree or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience working in a corporate environment supporting Microsoft technologies.
- Experience in installing and supporting Windows, Macintosh, Linux desktops, laptops, laserprinters, and iPhones.
- Profound knowledge of Windows Operating Systems required.
- Knowledge of Active Directory and DHCP required.
- Experience supporting Microsoft / Adobe Suite applications.
- Knowledge of network switches and VLANS a plus.
- Experience deploying and support VOIP phones a plus.
- Experience in supporting Video Conferencing equipment is a plus.
- Knowledge of backup and recovery systems is a plus.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Experience in using a Helpdesk based ticketing system is a plus.
- Srong attention to detail, highly organized, computer literate
- Able to support IT corporate requirements outside the normal business hours.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced professional office environments
