Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Bilingual Administrative Assistant in Bakersfield, California. This role involves working with people, coordinating tasks, and maintaining databases in an administrative capacity. The successful candidate will be required to display skills in Administrative Assistance, Data Entry, and Spanish Language.Responsibilities: Engage with people either through telephone calls or walk-ins to gather information for potential intakes. Provide screening information to the manager to aid in determining the appropriateness of providing an assignment. Coordinate the completion of release of information forms to obtain collateral data. Assist in coordinating inter-regional center transmittals. Develop and maintain databases or other tracking systems as assigned. Maintain accurate records. Complete data entry tasks as assigned. Compose correspondence and memorandums as directed. Schedule initial interviews for Service Coordinator Specialists – Assessment. Conduct face-to-face initial interviews when assigned. Submit required monitoring reports and paperwork in a timely fashion. Coordinate the release of information for closed and inactive cases. Complete administrative and secretarial tasks as required. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role. Proficient in administrative assistance tasks including scheduling, correspondence, and document management. Strong skills in data entry, with high attention to detail and accuracy. Fluent in Spanish, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent organizational skills with an ability to think proactively and prioritize work. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High level of discretion and confidentiality for sensitive information. Proactive problem-solving abilities and a strong sense of initiative.
