Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are on the lookout for a diligent Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the entertainment industry, located in Beverly Hills, California. In this role, you will primarily handle accounts payable tasks, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with other accounting projects. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, providing a long-term commitment.Responsibilities: Accurately input data related to accounts payable, handling a moderate volume of invoices on a weekly basis. Contribute to various accounting projects as required. Maintain organized and up-to-date records of customer credit applications. Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions in case of discrepancies. Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for various accounting tasks. Work independently, demonstrating strong organizational skills and the ability to self-start. Communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders. Correct any errors and clean up work as necessary. Prepare and train for the busy season starting in December. Work in a hybrid environment, starting in the office for training before transitioning to a combination of remote and in-office work. Requirements Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and activities Familiarity with bi-Monthly Payroll management Experience with Paycom software for payroll and HR functions Proficiency in QuickBooks for accounting purposes Strong knowledge of Excel Formulas Ability to liaise effectively with Account Executives Experience in Code Invoices and Coding Invoices High attention to detail and accuracy in work Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team High degree of integrity and confidentiality Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
