Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are in the market for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our clients team, a Large-Scale Real Estate & Commercial Property development company, in Carlsbad, California. In this role, you will be tasked with the efficient and accurate processing of invoices, vendor statement reconciliation, and payment processing. Your skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Check Runs, Coding Invoices, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, and Yardi will be put to good use as you ensure the smooth running of our accounts payable operations.Responsibilities: Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications Resolve discrepancies or issues with vendors in a timely manner Review and code invoices for payment Maintain vendor relationships professionally and manage any discrepancies in vendor statements Prepare and process weekly or monthly payments to vendors Ensure timely payments to avoid late fees Monitor and maintain accurate customer credit records Handle customer inquiries and provide appropriate solutions Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on account activity.Requirements Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP) Experience with Check Runs and Coding Invoices Strong Data Entry skills Familiarity with Invoice Processing Knowledge of Yardi software High level of accuracy and attention to detail Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software Ability to work independently and as part of a team Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred Familiarity with financial regulations and accounting principles.
