Per policy, current employees are not eligible. Employee Referral Eligible position.Mercy San Juan’s Family Birth Place is the level 3 within the greater Sacramento Dignity Hospitals. Our Family Birth Center is Joint Commission Certified for Perinatal Care and we follow the 10 steps to successful breastfeeding. FBC consists of a 12 bed labor unit, 2 OR’s, a 14 bed private postpartum unit, a PACU and 2 triage bays. We average 100-120 deliveries a month, and the department is supported by 8 Nurse Shift Managers, a Perinatal Safety Nurse and a Perinatal Nurse Educator.The incumbent is a professional who provides and supervises care to individuals and families using a holistic approach. The nursing process is used as a structured mechanism for critical thinking and problem solving in providing effective and appropriate care within a safe and confidential environment from admission to discharge. 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience
Fetal monitoring experience required
Current CA RN licensure, BLS, ACLS & NRP certificate from American Heart Association
NCC fetal monitoring certificate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring course completion within 12 months of hire
Cesarean Section experience preferred
