Position SummaryThis is a non-supervisory role that is responsible for functional Human Resources support in areas such as personnel records, benefits administration, employee relations, training, and other HR administrative duties.
Organizational RelationshipThis position reports directly to the HR Manager.
Accountabilities· Provide administrative support to the Human Resources Manager
- Conduct General Office Duties: answer phones, order office supplies, check mail, expense report, maintain filing, make copies, fax documents, etc.
- Maintain HR storage room where records are maintained
- Assist employees with benefit questions and/or enrollment.
- Manage multiple projects at a time, including follow through from start to finish.
- Employment verification data entry.
· Performs file audits to ensure that all required employee documentation is collected and maintained.
· Handles new hire processing such as pre-employment screening, onboarding, orientation, badges, and new employee files
· Assist in full cycle recruitment efforts such as application review, posting internal hourly positions, contact applicants to schedule phone and onsite interviews, plant tours
· Handles facilitation of internal job movement (posting, following progress thru interviews, processes/testing)
· Assist TM’s with Workday
· Assist Trainers with training requirements, and new employee onboarding.
· Assemble onboarding packets, enrollment of Kronos cards
· Assist with facility holiday planning, decoration and luncheons
· Special projects as assigned by HR Manager
Characteristics & Attributes· Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
· Software knowledge: Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook,); Knowledge of Kronos and WorkDay preferred
· Ability to handle multiple tasks and function in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
· Strong time management skills required
· Strong communication skills - listening, verbal, written and presentation
· Strong problem-solving and analytical reasoning skills
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy
· Ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization

· Must be bilingual-Spanish

Qualifications
Education & Experience· High school diploma or GED equivalent is required; Associated degree preferred
· 1 year experience working in a HR role
Additional Information
Physical Requirements· Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
· Walks, sits, stands, bends, lifts, and moves continually during working hours.
