Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Entry Level Analyst/Accounts Receivable Clerk in a medium sized company, based in Concord, California. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in complex billing and payment posting, as well as manipulating large datasets. Manage complex billing processes, including invoicing employers, electronic data transfer, and reconciling discrepancies.
Utilize advanced MS Excel skills to manipulate and analyze large datasets, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Perform payment posting and reconcile receipts to bank statements, maintaining accurate financial records.
Research and prepare bills, documents, and audit data and documents as needed.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.
Assist in data downloads into Excel from various sources, and maintain data integrity.
Follow instructions explicitly to execute tasks efficiently and accurately.
Utilize several software applications to perform tasks related to billing, payment processing, and data analysis.
Maintain a high level of attention to detail to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
Demonstrate a strong work ethic and willingness to learn, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Experience in accounts receivable or payable is preferred, but entry-level candidates with some accounting and Excel skills will be considered.
Proficiency in MS Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data manipulation.
Familiarity with electronic data transfer systems and invoicing software is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze financial data accurately.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Detail-oriented with a strong eye for accuracy and consistency in financial records.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
