Description One of our clients in the Concord area is looking for a Payroll Clerk.Contact Ade Henderson via LinkedIn for immediate consideration
Collect and verify timekeeping information for all employees.
Calculate, prepare, and issue paychecks and statements of earnings and deductions.
Manage compensation packages using payroll software.
Maintain and update payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiors.
Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in payroll.
Prepare reports for upper management, finance department, etc.
Maintain confidentiality of all payroll information.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent, bachelor's degree in Finance or relevant field is a plus.
Proven experience as a payroll clerk or in a similar role.
Familiarity with general accounting principles.
Experience in data collection, entry, and reporting with great attention to detail and confidentiality.
Solid knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and regulations.
Outstanding computational and analytical skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and payroll software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
