Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com .This director will have the opportunity to be responsible for Data & Analytics strategy, execution, and support for commercial bank. The primary business functions supported by this role has several large transformational programs in flight. Including a strong understanding of Commercial and Corporate Lending business and additional experience in developing data & analytics strategy, developing business cases, target-state solution architecture, and delivering large transformational efforts focusing on application rationalizing, modernization and migrating to cloud.In this role, you will:

Manage a team of engineering managers and engineering leads

Focus on delivering commitments aligned to enterprise strategic priorities

Build support for strategies with business and technology leaders

Guide development of actionable roadmaps and plans

Identify opportunities and strategies for continuous improvement of software engineering practices

Provide oversight to software craftsmanship, security, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions developed by the teams or third party providers

Identify financial management and strategic resourcing

Set risk management guidelines and partner with stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives

Develop strategies for hiring engineering talent

Lead implementation of projects and encourage engineering innovation

Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers

Lead team to achieve objectives

Interface with external agencies, regulatory bodies or industry forums

Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Technology Strategic Leadership

Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

Required Qualifications:

8+ years of Technology Strategic Leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

4+ years of Management experience

5+ years of Data & Analytics Engineering experience

Desired Qualifications:

5+ years of large-scale cloud modernization and migration to GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and/or Azure CSP

5+ years of management experience in Commercial and Corporate Lending technology organizations at a large financial and/or FinTech institutions with specialization in data and analytics

4+ years of executive leadership experience managing a complex technology organization of large scale, including senior managers, managers, individual contributors, and vendor resources

4+ years of risk and regulatory reporting experience

Experience in effective management of technology financials

Demonstrated ability leading multi-year large scale modernization and rationalization programs

Job Expectations:

Ability to travel 20% of the time

Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment, including weekends and holidays

This position offers a hybrid work schedule

Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location.
