Jr. Systems AdministratorIMMEDIATE NEED for a Jr. Systems Administrator to join a manufacturing and distribution company at their Cypress, CA location regarding Direct Hire Full Time employment. The company is currently working on a Hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities:- Provides Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
- Supports all production network environment and related systems and services.
- Support with planning, implementing, and maintaining systems to ensure productivity and prevent data loss.
- Perform daily system monitoring and environmental health checks.
- Troubleshoot and remediate issues affecting Windows systems.
- Support daily and weekly backups.
- Support with Configure resources to detect vulnerabilities to operating systems, applications, databases and the network infrastructure components. Detect, enumerate and classify major vulnerabilities, perform trend analysis and reporting for the Enterprise with vulnerability assessment tools and methodologies.
- Provide after hours on call support.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in a technical field with exposure to Windows Desktop Support, Windows Server Administration, User Account Management, troubleshooting, email administration, Microsoft Office 365 Administration, Active Directory management, and basic networking
- Active Certifications are a plus
- Understanding of Windows Server platforms, including basic patching and administration functions
- Experience working in mission-critical, operations support environment amongst geographically dispersed teams
- Understanding of DNS, DHCP, SSH, HTTP, TCP/IP and other common network protocols
- A degree in computer science or a related field
- Microsoft Certification
- System and Network security background.
