Modis is looking to hire an

Application Developer (IAM) for our client in

Davis, CA. This position will provide critical support to connect applications to our IDP for Single Signon capabilities, support application upgrades for the CAS single Signon application and CAS Manager application, as well as keep the Shibboleth application current. Requires expert knowledge of Java/Angular/Spring as well as high proficiency with CAS, Linux, Tomcat, Apache, and LDAP.

Duration of project: 12 months

Primarily Remote with the expectation that the contractor be on-site to attend any in-person meetings and support activities for assigned projects as needed. Prefers local candidates to the Sacramento/SF Bay Area.

Essential Responsibilities: 50% Incident response 40% Documentation of upgrade strategies and application processes 10% Information Security Consulting

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

2 years of experience with CAS integration for SSO using OAUTH, OIDC, and SAML

Knowledge of LDAP data retrieval for SSO/SAML attributes.

Experience with InCommon federated metadata and attributes

Experience implementing SSO with a variety of applications and vendors.

5 years of Linux administration

5 years of Tomcat and Apache server administration.

5 years of Java, Spring, Angular

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with CAS and CAS Manager version upgrade and deployment

Experience with Shibboleth
