Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman’s Chief Information Office is seeking a Level 2 Software Application Administrator / Analyst to support and maintain Mechanical Design Engineering applications within unclassified and classified areas in Redondo Beach, CA, Palmdale, CA, Rancho Bernardo CA, Roy, UT, or Melbourne, FL.Responsibilities include (but not limited to)

End-user support of CAD (NX, CATIA v5)/ Electrical CAD (Capital, HarnesSys) engineering software included in the Engineering Systems Pool (ESP).

Provide system maintenance, licenses management, software installations, upgrade deployments, operations support, test support, and system troubleshooting while meeting software compliance standards.

Monitor, address, and resolve production environment incidents, service requests, workflows, client install packages, etc.

Document all aspects of system support such that knowledge is readily shared among all those tasked with supporting CAD/E-CAD applications.

Maintain strong expertise and knowledge of current and emerging CAD (NX, CATIA v5)/ Electrical CAD (Capital, HarnesSys) engineering applications, products and technologies.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or related STEM discipline with 2 years of experience, OR a Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or related STEM discipline with 0 years of experience or equivalent.

Must possess and maintain an Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Must possess and maintain or be able to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).

Experience with Windows and UNIX/Linux Operating Systems.

Experience with Server/Client installations.

Experience with application administration.

Must work well with others in a professional setting regardless of skillsets.

Ability to understand and work with multiple enterprise-wide systems and software problem tracking tools such as Jira.

Must have current Security + Certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months.

Must be able to work in the office as this is not a remote telework position.

Preferred Qualifications:

Current Security + Certification

Current DOD Security Clearance

Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills

Experience with AWS GovCloud

Experience as an End User for CAD/Electrical CAD engineering tools such as NX, CATIA V5, Capital, and/or HarnesSys

Experience as an application administrator for for CAD/Electrical CAD engineering tools such as NX, CATIA V5, Capital, and/or HarnesSys

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Work well under pressure and adapt well to unplanned tasks

Ability and willingness to continuously learn and implement new processes

Dedicated to teamwork and be ability to work well in a team environment

Salary Range: $75,300 - $130,800The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
