Ultrasound Instructor at Central California School of Continuing Education
Central California School of Continuing Education (CCSCE) is seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Ultrasound (Diagnostic Medical Sonography) Instructor to join our instructional team. This role is ideal for an experienced ultrasound professional who enjoys teaching, mentoring, and helping students prepare for successful clinical careers.
Position Overview
The Ultrasound Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality classroom and lab instruction, supporting student learning, and ensuring curriculum aligns with current industry standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging lectures and hands-on lab instruction in diagnostic medical sonography
Teach ultrasound theory, anatomy, pathology, instrumentation, and scanning techniques
Evaluate student performance through exams, practical assessments, and skill demonstrations
Maintain accurate student records and comply with school and accreditation requirements
Mentor students and provide academic and professional guidance
Collaborate with administration to support program outcomes and continuous improvement
Qualifications:
ARDMS or equivalent credential in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (preferred)
Minimum of 5 years of clinical ultrasound experience (required)
Prior teaching or training experience preferred (but not required)
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Commitment to student success and professional excellence\
