Accounting Specialist

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Specialist in Fresno, California. This role focuses on the efficient and accurate processing of customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving customer inquiries within the financial services industry.Responsibilities: Efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications. Maintenance and management of accurate customer credit records. Addressing and resolving customer inquiries related to their accounts. Ensuring the correct use of Accounting Software Systems for all accounting functions. Expertise in handling Ceridian for managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). Proficient use of Concur for managing customer accounts. Applying ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for effective business process management. Regular monitoring of customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary.Requirements Possess a minimum of three years of experience in the field of accounting or finance Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required Ability to perform various Accounting Functions with precision and efficiency Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Knowledge of Auditing procedures and regulations Ability to manage Billing Functions effectively Must have excellent analytical skills and attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
