Estimation Lead

AECOM is seeking an Estimation Lead to be based in Fresno, CA. SUMMARY:The Estimator Lead plays a pivotal role within the Program, working under the Estimating Manager in a leadership capacity. In this role, the Estimator Lead supervises a team of estimators and is primarily responsible for the development of accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for various project phases. The individual will lead the creation of bi-annual Programmatic Business Plan capital cost estimates, Program Baselines, and Project Update Reports, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgets, and objectives. Additionally, the Estimator Lead will provide guidance and support to the estimating team in executing complex cost analysis and providing strategic input for the overall program delivery process. This role requires a high level of expertise in cost estimation, project management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful and efficient execution of all project components. The Estimator Lead will also be instrumental in refining estimation processes, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment with industry best practices.RESPONSIBILITIES: Works in the development of all capital cost estimates for planning conceptual level to final design and construction cost estimatesFacilitates the development of information used to develop cost estimates with all internal and external stakeholdersSupports the development of the bi-annual Programmatic Business Plan capital cost estimates, ProgramBaselines and Project Update ReportsSupports the review of Contractor estimates and claimsDevelop policies and procedures for programmatic cost estimating
