Position: Production Worker
Experience: One Year Experience (minimum)
Location: Fresno, CA
Type: Full-Time, On-site
Monday – Friday (6:00 am – 2:30 pm) hours may fluctuate depending on the time of year
Key Responsibilities:
Cutting and preparation: Accurately measure and cut wood panels using power tools like table saws, miter saws, and band saws according to pre-determined specifications and blueprints.
Assembly: Assemble cabinet frames by attaching side, top, and bottom panels using appropriate joinery techniques (screws, dowels, glue) while maintaining proper alignment.
Door and drawer installation: Fit and install pre-made doors and drawers to cabinet frames, ensuring proper functionality and aesthetics.
Hardware installation: Attach hinges, pulls, knobs, and other hardware to cabinets and drawers.
Quality control: Inspect each casework piece for defects, ensuring accurate dimensions, proper assembly, and consistent finish.
Material handling: Safely lift and move wood panels and components throughout the production process.
Clean up: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, disposing of waste materials appropriately.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Basic carpentry skills: Knowledge of woodworking techniques, including cutting, measuring, and assembly methods.
Attention to detail: Ability to precisely follow instructions and ensure quality in every step of the production process.
Physical stamina: Comfortable with standing for extended periods and lifting heavy materials.
Ability to read shop drawings: Interpret plans and specifications to accurately build casework components.
Basic power tool operation: Proficiency with table saws, miter saws, drills, sanders, and other relevant woodworking machinery.
Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with other production team members to meet production deadlines.
