Job Description: Regenerative Farming Canvasser & Tabling Representative

Farm Fresh To You is the leader in the CSA industry, utilizing a local model. We're a 2nd generation family farm that has been farming organically since 1976 and delivering since 1992. Canvassing is our expertise, generating the majority of our new customers annually which has made us an effective change agent to improve the food system while supporting certified organic family farms. We have an effective training program to make you successful, but we need your self-motivation, passion for what we stand for, and ability to be coached into success.

Position Overview:

Join our mission to support local California farms that prioritize the protection of farm laborers, sustainable practices, and the local economy. As a Canvasser & Tabling Representative, you will educate the public on the benefits of regenerative farming, promote California’s organic farms, and help customers make sustainable grocery choices without affecting their existing budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Outreach & Engagement:

Canvass local communities and engage with individuals at events, farmer’s markets, and community gatherings to raise awareness about the importance of regenerative farming and support for local California farms.

Educate the Public:

Inform people about the critical role California farms play in feeding the U.S. and how regenerative farming practices help minimize soil erosion, conserve water, and protect farm workers' rights.

Promote Sustainable Choices:

Explain how customers can support local, organic farms through sustainable grocery shopping that aligns with their pre-existing budget.

Tabling at Events:

Set up information tables at various events and locations to engage directly with community members, distributing educational materials and promoting sustainable agriculture.

Support the Local Economy:

Advocate for local purchasing that keeps food dollars within the state, helping to sustain California’s rich agricultural community.

Customer Relationship Building:

Help customers transition to supporting organic, regenerative farming practices without disrupting their usual grocery budget.

Qualifications:

Passionate about sustainable agriculture, regenerative farming, and supporting local economies.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and educate diverse groups of people.

Experience in canvassing, outreach, or tabling is preferred but not required.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Willingness to learn and communicate the benefits of regenerative farming and how it supports labor rights, environmental sustainability, and water conservation.

Bonus:

Four-year or professional degree

Previous direct sales experience

Experience in Health, Wellness, and Nutrition

Competitive compensation: The pay range for this position is expected to be between $70,000 and $100,000/yr, including commission earnings. Actual commission earnings vary based on individual sales performance
