Patient Care Coordinator

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Patient Care Coordinator in the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industries within our Glendale, California location. Responsibilities: Coordinating patient care effectively and efficiently Managing patient records with precision and accuracy Addressing and resolving patient inquiries promptly Monitoring patient accounts and taking necessary actions when required Utilizing CRM for patient service and management Handling inbound calls and providing exceptional patient service Applying Cerner Technologies, Allscripts, and Dentrix Dental Software in daily operations Managing authorizations, billing functions, and benefit functions Creating and interpreting charts and graphs for patient data analysis Using Banner Ads for effective patient communication and awareness Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare, hospital, or social assistance setting. Proficiency in using Allscripts healthcare management system. Familiarity with Banner Ads and their effective use in a healthcare environment. Experience with Cerner Technologies for patient data management. Knowledge of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools. Proficiency in using Dentrix Dental Software for scheduling and billing. Ability to handle answering inbound calls in a detail oriented and empathetic manner. Experience with obtaining authorizations for various medical procedures. Knowledge of benefit functions, including insurance verification and claim submission. Familiarity with billing functions, including coding, submission, and follow-up.
