Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and self-motivated Staff Accountant to join our dynamic accounting team. If you’re passionate about accounting and looking to further your career with an innovative and collaborative organization, we’d love to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:
General Ledger Management:
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate financial records. Prepare journal entries for month-end and year-end closing, and support the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
Financial Reporting:
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
Account Reconciliations:
Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and intercompany accounts. Investigate and resolve discrepancies to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Month-End and Year-End Closing:
Assist in the timely and accurate closing of the accounting period, ensuring all transactions are recorded in the correct period and in accordance with company policies.
Accounts Payable and Receivable Support:
Provide backup support for accounts payable and accounts receivable functions when needed. Review invoices, prepare payment batches, and assist with collections or invoice adjustments.
Requirements
