A Public Works/Commercial general contractor is seeking a superintendent with at least 3 years experience running school & office TI projects in the public sector. Most work will be in the Sacramento, Placer and Nevada counties, some travel and swing shifts may be required. This position is primarily site supervision and management, though occasional hands on carpentry related duties will be required.
Job Requirements:
Must have recent Public Works/School/Commercial construction experience
Must be able to pass DOJ background check and drug testing
Strong overall knowledge of typical commercial trades
Strong public relations and leadership skills
Proficient in Microsoft office and Excel.
Daily reporting and project documentation
Ability to enforce company safety program
Professional appearance and conduct
Familiar with ADA compliance & DSA run projects
Strong comprehension and enforcement of specifications, details & plans
Reliable transportation and clean DMV
