DescriptionOfficeTeam currently has a fantastic opportunity for a skillful and driven Human Resources Administrative Assistant at a growing ecommerce company in Santa Barbara, California. In addition to providing clerical support to the HR department and employees regarding human resources related activities, policies, processes, and procedures, the Human Resources Administrative Assistant will be in charge of a number of different personnel related administrative tasks.What we are looking for:
Support the Director of HR’s administrative needs
Assist tasks relating to payroll, employee benefits, on-boarding new employees, terminations, and various other HR duties
Provide office support and help various departments with pending projects
Key personnel on tracking equipment and office inventory
Assist in creating and editing company policies
Manage calendar for the Director of HR and schedule meetings as needed
Update HR personnel files and ensure organization and accuracy
Plan, coordinate and run company events/celebrations
Assist with creation of presentations and excel reports: information gathering, report generation, drafting correspondence
Provide personal projects and assistance
Other duties as assigned
RequirementsRequirements for the role:
Proven work experience as an HR administrative assistant or HR Administrator (2 years’ experience preferred)
College degree highly prefered
Hands on experience with HR software, like HRIS or HRMS
Great team player with a positive attitude; enthusiastic and passionate
Excellent organizational and time-management skills; unmatched attention to detail
Must handle confidential matters with appropriate discretion
Teamwork skills; display honest, trustworthy and ethical behavior when dealing with internal and external customers
