ToSoCo Solutions services trucks, trailers and cargo containers both by appointment in our Traver, California shop and by emergency roadside assistance from Gorman to Oakland.
ToSoCo is seeking a highly motivated individual for a Parts CSR/Service Writer position.
This position is full-time with no remote work. ToSoCo is part of a network of family businesses and responsibilities may overlap for multiple companies. Qualified applicants will possess supervisory experience, mechanical experience with heavy equipment/machinery, understanding of inventory control, and be able to navigate industry computer programs.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
LEADERSHIP
o Supervising and organizing workflow of shop employees
DAILY INVENTORY OPERATIONS
o Timely and accurate processing of customer invoices/work orders
o Timely and accurate receiving and staging of inventory
o Discovery, research and resolution of inventory discrepancies
CONTRIBUTING TO MONTHLY INVENTORY CONTROL PROCESS
o Counting, reconciling, and researching under the guidance of the Senior Accounting Manager
MAINTAINING ORGANIZATION OF BUSINESS RECORDS AND IMPLEMENTING ORGANIZATIONAL SYSTEMS.
o Managing compliance records for certifications, licenses and permitting
CUSTOMER SERVICE
o Operating shop service desk
o Ensuring a professional, presentable, and safe shop atmosphere
COLLABORATING WITH BOTH THE ACCOUNTING TEAM AND SHOP TEAM
o Driving profitability by creating and maintaining systems for effective flow of accurate and timely information between parts/service team and accounting/office team.
o Projects and completion of tasks as needed to contribute to company success.
