Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Analyst with expertise in SAP software to join our clients finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the billing processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, and supporting revenue recognition in accordance with company policies. This is a key role that requires a deep understanding of billing procedures, SAP systems, and financial reporting.Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the end-to-end billing process, ensuring timely and accurate generation of invoices
Utilize SAP to create and maintain billing records, generate reports, and ensure data accuracy
Reconcile billing discrepancies, investigate and resolve customer billing issues in a timely manner
Collaborate with internal teams (sales, finance, operations) to ensure billing accuracy and efficiency
Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process, including the preparation of billing-related journal entries
Support revenue recognition processes and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards
Prepare and present billing and AR reports, highlighting key metrics and trends
Implement process improvements to streamline billing operations and reduce errors
Assist with audits by preparing necessary billing documentation and reports
Provide training and support to junior team members on SAP billing processes
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3+ years of experience in billing or accounts receivable, with at least 1 year of experience using SAP software
Strong understanding of billing processes, AR management, and revenue recognition
Proficiency in SAP (experience with SAP billing modules is a must)
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail
