We have a position with our Nutrition & Activities program, working at our Eureka location. Our Dining Center Coordinator is responsible for Dining Center operations and activities including employees, volunteers, and food service for both the assigned Dining Center and applicable Home Delivered Meals (HDM) routes. Works with the Nutrition & Activities Director, Nutrition & Activities Supervisor, and Food Service Manager to ensure compliance with Title III and food safety regulations. High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Minimum of one (1) year experience or education in community nutrition, social work, psychology, gerontology, management, or another related field required.
Minimum of one (1) year experience in a supervisory role required. Associate degree in a related discipline preferred.
Experience working in a food service program preferred. Current CPR and First Aid certification within six (6) months of hire, provided by HSRC. Ability to acquire Food Handler’s certification upon hire (ServSafe, National Registry of Food Safety Professionals, or other approved certification). Valid California Driver’s License, and personal auto liability insurance required. Must have a personal vehicle in good driving/operating condition and insured for State minimum liability requirements that can be used for the applicable job functions. 31-hours per week, Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-3:30pm and Friday, 10am-3pm.
