The Police Services Assistant performs a wide variety of administrative and support functions for the Police Department, including processing applicant fingerprints and receiving/processing payments for fines, citations, and services. This position processes, maintains and distributes confidential law enforcement records, reports and other related information, including police reports, citations and subpoenas, and serves as the initial contact in providing assistance to the public at the front counter and over the telephone, which include a diverse range of people, often in distress or other challenging situations.
