Hospice of Humboldt is accepting applications for a Nurse at our Hospice House!
This position is benefited and has a full-time (3 shifts per week) or half-time (2 shifts per week) option.
Sign-on bonus is $5,000 for Full-time, $2,500 for Half-time
The Hospice House Nurse is responsible for the provision and coordination of care for the hospice patient, including their family and caregiver(s). The Hospice House Nurse primarily provides nursing care to patients residing in the Ida Emerson Hospice House, but may occasionally provide nursing care to patients residing outside of the IEHH, under the direction of a Clinical Manager and under physician’s orders. Care is provided in collaboration with other Interdisciplinary Group members as described in the patients’ Plan of Care.
Candidates must have a current California Registered Nurse license, be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, and have at least 1 year of recent nursing experience or equivalent experience in a BSN program.
