Green Diamond Resource Company is hiring! We have a great opportunity available for you or someone you know to join our team as the Road Maintenance Supervisor for our operations in Korbel. The main responsibility for the Road Maintenance Supervisor is supervising road maintenance, construction, rocking, and decommissioning for the off highway road system in the Korbel area. This position directs the work of 12 to 14 company hourly union road maintenance employees during the peak summer season. In addition to company employees this position also coordinates contractors who provide dump trucks, water trucks, graders, excavators and dozers to support road rocking, construction, improvements and maintenance. Must be familiar with the California Forest Practice Rules and Timber Harvest Plan process to ensure all work is administered safely, within California regulations and assure commitments are met on time.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Bachelor degree in Forest Management, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

Valid driver's license.

Extensive knowledge of the California Forest Practice Rules.

3-5 years of experience in road layout, design, maintenance or construction.

Ability to organize, motivate, and apply leadership skills in order to supervise a staff or crew.

Ability to be highly motivated and self-directed.

Must have strong leadership skills. Work with integrity, trust and commitment, setting an example for others.
