Position Summary

The Accounting Assistant will provide day-to-day support to the accounting and finance functions, assisting with bookkeeping, reconciliations, payments, and month-end closings. This position requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and a proactive attitude to ensure smooth financial operations and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with daily accounting activities, including data entry, journal entries, and transaction recording.

Prepare and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner.

Reconcile credit card statements.

Support cash management activities, including recording bank transactions and monitoring balances.

Coordinate with other departments to ensure proper documentation and timely submission of accounting information.

Provide administrative and accounting support as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

AA degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field preferred (or equivalent practical experience)

1 – 3 years of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot table, lookups) and accounting software NetSuite.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills

Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

A proactive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

Job Type & Work Schedule

Full-time, Monday to Friday
