Earn up to $4,800 a month by hosting international students in the Temecula/Murrieta area. Do you love children, want to be part of a very rewarding experience while earning $? If you have an extra bedroom or two in your home, reliable transportation and live in the Temecula/Murrieta area, this hosting gig could be for you! Must be available 7/14-7/20, our peak week and you can host any or all of the other four weeks that are not filled (first come, first serve) and future area programs. You can host two students in one bedroom, or up to four students in two bedrooms, all in separate beds (twin beds and high quality cots will suffice, no air mattresses).
Host families provide a welcoming, loving and clean home, as well as some English conversation to our visiting international students. Give them breakfast each morning, rides to (8:30-9:00) and from (3:00-4:00) school, and dinner with the family each evening. There is also the initial pick-up at the local school when they arrive on Sunday afternoon or evening (most cases, one group arrives on Monday), and drop-off at the school when they depart on Saturday mornings. The students come and go on a weekly basis, so you can choose to host when you are available (with the exception of the week of 7/14 when we need all hands on deck). We also offer host families reduced tuition (as low as $100 per week) if you want to send your own students along with your hosted students to our high quality summer program.
All families will have to pass a criminal background checks and a home visit by one of our staff. Homes and especially the bedroom(s) and bathroom(s) that the students will use, must be kept in good clean condition. Internet access is also required so that the students can communicate with their families back home. This is a very fun and rewarding experience. We have some families that have been hosting for us since 2014. Families with children get the added bonus of having their kids get to interact, conversate and have fun with their new host brothers and sisters. Families without children in the house are also very much welcome to host with us.
