Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. And Emergencies. Possible Saturdays just looking after a little legal service dog who will hang out with you while you do whatever you want to do or go whereever you want to go. Saturdays are not mandatory. but it sure is an easy and fun way to have money pile up.
I am looking for a caregiver who wants a long term commitment. I am mobile, but suffer from an auto immune disease that keeps me very, very tired. I can go to sleep for 10 hours and wake up more tired than before I went to sleep. I have periods of time when I do pretty well, and other periods of time when I am in bed a lot. I need all the regular things. Dr. appointments. Don't wory about gas. I got you covered, but you must have a relieable, good gas miledge car. Then cleaning and very, very light meal prep. Meal prep for me is taking a can of tuna fish and mixing it in a bowl with Manonaise and some cut up onions. Then cleaning. Again it is light cleaing because I am a very clean person and I don't like any clutter around me. I am very flexible as long as you do not atempt to take advantage of this. That would be a no , no. Next, I will need you to run errands, like grocery shopping. I also have just recently moved here, so some organizing.
I am kind, educated, and live in a low income apartment complex that is actually quite nice. Very pretty grounds. Good size one bedroom apartments with large windows. Pleasant enviroment. Clean and pretty.
You must be a very kind person. You must enjoy helping seniors and people who need help. It is good if you need the money, but it will not work if it is the only reason you are doing caregiving. You have to enjoy this kind of work and companionship. It is the only way for a long term caregiving job to work.
It will not work if you are living in a low income apartment and are limited as to the amount of money you can run throught your bank account. A senior on social security renting an apartment or in their own home is ideal. A younger person is also fine. I also find that I do best with hispanic women. I am calcasian , but I find hispanic women especially warm and usually kind, and I need this. I am open to anyone who is kind, caring, and competent.
In regards to specific skills, you must be able to use your phones gps very well. I need to be able to give you just the name of a place or doctor, and you need to be able to pull it up very quickly with directions and be ready to hit the road. You will of course have advanced notice of Dr. Appointments.
Lastly, I have a small miniture poodle . She is a legal service dog with Riverside County Department of Animal Control. She goes everywhere with me and us and I do mean everywhere. Once she leaves my apartment , she is completey silent. Always. She has not gone potty inside any kind of building in 12 years except one accident when she was sick. .
In regards to money. IHSS currently pays $18.50 an hour. It has gone up 50 cents every year that I have been with them so it should be $19 an hour starting January. You can make a lot more money with me than the 60 hours if you want to. I have a lot of hours.
I live in sun city/menifee. I need someone who lives very close by. You should live in sun city or menifee. I have people respond time who live too far away. Don't do it. If you can get here in 10 ro 15 minutes that would be the max amount of time.
