Responsibilities
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are available.
Take and develop X-rays as required, adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software and manage appointment scheduling.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Implement infection control procedures and maintain aseptic techniques throughout the clinic.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow within the clinic.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
Familiarity with Open Dental or similar dental management systems is a plus.
Strong understanding of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Certification in radiography.
