Looking for a reliable and responsible delivery driver for our Truck and Trailer Parts business. You will be primarily delivering parts but will also work in the warehouse to pull orders and put away inventory/stock. You will be driving our vehicles which are shown in the pictures below. We are looking to add someone who is reliable, hardworking, and looking to grow with our company.

Summary: Responsible for completing assigned deliveries, pickup of merchandise, and assisting with shipping and receiving responsibilities. Responsible for receiving, storing, issuing sales floor merchandise, stocking shelves, racks, cases, bins, tables with merchandise, and arranging merchandise displays to attract customers. Responsible for periodically taking physical count of stock, or check and mark merchandise by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Operates company vehicle in a professional, safe, and courteous manner.

2. Responsible for picking up merchandise and invoices from warehouse/vendors.

3. Delivers merchandise to customers in a timely manner.

4. Ensures delivery of appropriate merchandise in accordance with customer invoices and may be required to collect payment on delivery.

5. Ensures delivery vehicles are clean and in good working condition.

6. Performs daily maintenance checks and reports malfunctions to management.

7. Ensures customer messages/communications are relayed to appropriate management.

8. Returns credit merchandise with appropriate paperwork and informs management of delivery.

9. Assists in maintaining a neat and clean workplace at all times.

10. Assists with stocking the shipping and receiving department to include lifting, carrying cartons, and placing them on appropriate shelves.

11. Reports overstock occurrences to management immediately.

12. Responsible for filling delivery orders by obtaining the required merchandise and completing appropriate paperwork.

13. Provides customer with receipt and/or credit form for merchandise to be picked up.

14. Responsible for stocking shelves, racks, cases, bins, and tables with new or transferred merchandise.

15. Compares merchandise invoices to items actually received to ensure that shipments are correct.

16. Responsible for receiving, opening, unpacking and issuing sales floor merchandise.

17. Cleans display cases, shelves, and aisles.

18. Packs customer purchases in bags or cartons for delivery.

19. Performs other related duties as assigned.

20. Understands per the request of management, the employee may be required to work other postions within the department.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates and Licenses:

Valid driver’s license
