The Press Operator ensures the production of products meets or exceeds efficiency and quality standards. They must have the knowledge and skills of associated machinery to identify and prevent issues and a detailed eye for proper color, measurements, and other aesthetics. Safely and efficiently perform printing-related tasks. They perform equipment setup and minor maintenance. To make ready, operate, and adjust the printing press to maintain the required quality and quantity of production.
Responsibilities:
Process job on press based on work order requirements.
Ensure the machine is running efficiently and work order requirements complete that job.
Mount paper, dies, and plates.
Set punch unit and change prefs.
Adjust inks and paper.
Provide basic machinery support, including oiling, solvents, water, and cleaning.
Verify order materials are ready for job completion.
Maintain an organized, safe, clean, and efficient work area.
Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs
Hours: Monday - Friday 6 am to 2:30 pm
