Full Charge Bookkeeper/Accountant for Property Management Company
DO NOT apply if you do not have Appfolio, Buildium, Yardi or similar Property Management Software Experience.
The LaBrada Group, Inc. is an established owner-operator property management firm based in Upland. We manage approximately 900 Single Family, Townhomes, Condos and smaller Multi-Family buildings across the Inland Empire and Eastern Los Angeles County. We are seeking a Bookkeeper/Accountant. Position reports to and works directly with CEO/Founder and a staff of 18 to provide uncompromised, unparalleled service to our clients.
Duties:
Oversee all aspects of accounting for our Property Management Trust Accounts.
Collect & record tenant receipts daily
Prepare and make deposits mostly remotely
Prepare and disburse monthly distributions and income/expense statements
Pay accounts payable, monitor accounts receivable
Monitor balances in individual accounts
Monthly reconciliations
Year end accounting including W-2’s and 1099’s
Work with staff to ensure timely payouts to landlords, vendors etc.
PREFER advanced Appfolio, Buildium, Yardi or similar Property Management Software knowledge
Requirements:
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
A successful track record in accounting – at least 3+ years of property management accounting.
Computer knowledge of property management software Appfolio, Buildium, Yardi or similar, Quicken, Microsoft and Excel.
Detail oriented, excellent communication and organizational skills
Able to multi-task and work without much direction
Currently reside in the Inland Empire with knowledge of cities serviced by LaBrada.
Job Type: Full-time, based in Upland.
Pay: $62,400 – 66,560 per year - $30-$32 per hour – depending on experience. Or provide salary expectation with resume.
