A OC based company in the ad tech space is looking to bring on a back end Java backed Data Engineer, with strong cloud based ETL skills, data pipelining, data cleansing, and validation. This company is in a Google Cloud Platform environment using BigQuery. In this role you will work on real time data streaming ETL pipelines from scratch, and learn from senior engineers and scientists in a challenging environment. Required Skills & Experience
- Experience with one of the major cloud platforms: AWS P, ideally:
- Airflow OR
- Snowflake OR
- Redshift OR
- BigQuery
- Strong back end Java coding skills
- Strong Python data engineering skills
- ETL
- Data cleansing
- Modelling
- Experience with Containerization: Docker/ Kubernetes
- Knowledge of Hashicorp tools: Terraform, Vault, Vagrant, Packer
- Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
- Competitive Rate: Up to $80/hr, DOE
- Contract duration: 12 months
